| Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure Trailer #2 (HD)
Added: 14.09.2013 15:27 | 1 views | 0 comments
Tesla Effect begins with Tex Murphy -- the down-on-his-luck gumshoe in the post-apocalyptic future -- regaining consciousness on the fire escape next to his office with a gaping head wound and an injection mark on his arm. With the last seven years of his life wiped from memory, the private eye has no choice but to figure who was behind the mysterious attack and why.
Tex Murphy is the last of the hard-boiled gumshoe detectives living in dystopian post-World War III San Francisco in the 2040s. Tex is an honest and good-natured private investigator with a penchant for bourbon, cigarettes and getting himself into trouble. He runs his P.I. (and dance instructor) business from his apartment/office on the top floor of the Ritz Hotel, located on Chandler Avenue in Old San Francisco. In stark contrast to the sparkling, futuristic New San Francisco, Old San Francisco is a run-down part of town known for its high concentration of Mutants -- a section of the population disfigured by post-war nuclear fallout. Tex has found several friends and allies among the Mutants on Chandler Avenue. His talents as a detective are matched only by his knack for putting his foot in his mouth and bumbling his way into the path of danger. However, using his wits, creativity and a bit of luck, Tex has managed to save the world on several occasions.

FarmVille studio reaches settlement with Alan Patmore, who admits to making "serious mistake" by taking confidential Zynga information when he left the company.
Zynga and former general manager Alan Patmore have reached a settlement surrounding a 2012 lawsuit that accused the employee of "wholesale theft" of company secrets after he left the studio to join rival gaming company Kixeye.
reports that the matter was settled this week. Patmore said in a statement: "I accept responsibility for making a serious mistake by copying and taking Zynga confidential information when I resigned from Zynga. I understand the consequences of my actions and I sincerely apologize to Zynga and my former colleagues."
Neither Zynga nor Kixeye disclosed terms of the settlement, but issued a joint statement that reads: "Zynga Inc. and Kixeye Inc. have reached a mutually agreeable settlement of their litigation involving Alan Pat San Francisco Superior Court."
As reported by TechCrunch, Zynga filed a complaint against Patmore a month after he left the company alleging that he obtained and stored more than 760 documents from his work computer in Dropbox before his final day with the company. Zynga claimed that these files contained design documents for upcoming games, as well as details about monetization plans and compensation information for employees.
